Chapters

At the present time there are 12 NEREA Chapters, 11 located in the US and one in Naples, Italy. The Chapter activities may vary by chapter, from luncheon meetings, to dinner meetings, and some chapters may meet  monthly while others meet quarterly, and in many instances guest speakers from health organizations, Social Security, Internal Revenue Service, Real Estate organizations, etc. are invited to address the group. Many Chapters  have annual projects such as donating gifts to a different Nursing home each Christmas. Also, it provides an opportunity to learn if there are any new changes in your retirement benefits, or legislation that may effect you.

You are strongly urged to attend the local chapter meeting and it is not a requirement you be a dues paying NEREA member to attend, although it is encouraged. Staying in touch with other Navy Exchange retirees should be a high priority. All of us have much in common.
